In response to this incident, Heart South states they have implemented additional security measures to further minimize the risk of a similar event in the future. Law enforcement has been notified, and Heart South is reviewing its data protection policies and procedures. Heart South is offering complimentary access to credit monitoring and identity protection services as a precaution.
